Lifetime Warranty

🇮🇹 Built to Last — Guaranteed for Life

Every GP&MAX belt is crafted from the finest full-grain Italian leather, never bonded, split, or processed hides. Our materials and methods produce belts that won’t crack apart, break, or stretch excessively.

If your belt ever fails due to a defect in materials or craftsmanship, we’ll repair or replace it — no questions asked. That’s our promise, for life.

Warranty FAQ

How long does the warranty last?

Forever. Every GP&MAX belt is protected by our Lifetime Craftsmanship Guarantee. If it ever fails under normal use, we’ll stand behind it — whether it’s one year or twenty.

What does the warranty cover?

Our warranty covers materials and workmanship under intended use — meaning belts worn around the waist for everyday or professional use.
This includes:

  • Cracking or splitting of leather

  • Broken stitching

  • Defective buckles or hardware

Damage from misuse (e.g., exposure to chemicals, pet chewing, fire, or improper storage) is not covered.

If your belt isn’t suitable for heavy-duty use and you’ve been carrying significant gear (e.g., tools, holsters), we may recommend upgrading to a reinforced model.

What if my belt style is discontinued?

If your original belt is no longer available, we’ll offer a replacement of similar value or a store credit toward another style.

Does stretching count as a defect?

Our belts are made from premium vegetable-tanned leather that naturally molds to your body and softens over time — this is part of its beauty.
However, excessive stretching (over 1.5 inches) under normal wear is covered.
Minor hole elongation (up to ⅜ inch) is normal and not considered a defect.

Stretching caused by water damage, improper use, or wearing the wrong size is not covered.

My belt curved to my body — is that normal?

Yes. Over time, your belt will take on your shape for a more comfortable fit. This curve is natural and not a sign of damage.

Are buckles and screws covered?

Absolutely.
If your buckle or screw fails, we’ll send a replacement at no cost.
For recurring loose screws, apply a small drop of clear nail polish to the threads to act as a mild adhesive. Cosmetic wear on hardware finishes is not covered.

What if my belt got wet or moldy?

Leather is durable, but it’s not waterproof. If stored in damp environments or repeatedly soaked and dried, damage may occur.
Water or mold damage from improper storage is not covered. Always store your belt in a cool, dry place.

Can the warranty transfer if I gift or pass it down?

Yes. Our warranty follows the belt, not the buyer.
As long as you can provide the original purchaser’s name and order information, we’ll honor the lifetime guarantee.

I lost or gained weight — can I exchange sizes?

Congratulations on your progress! However, size changes due to weight fluctuation are not covered under warranty. The guarantee applies only to the original size purchased.

Can I punch new holes?

Yes — but carefully.
Punching holes at least ¾ inch apart from existing ones will not void the warranty on belts without cores.
On reinforced models (with steel or composite cores), punching through the core will void coverage, as it compromises structural integrity.

Are wallets or accessories covered?

Yes. Our wallets and small leather goods are covered under the same Lifetime Craftsmanship Guarantee for stitching, leather quality, and hardware defects.
Plastic ID windows or interior linings are considered wear components and are not covered.
